Policies

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that emergencies happen unexpectedly, however we do ask that if you need to cancel or change your appointment that you give at least 48 hours notice to avoid any charges. A forfeiture fee equivalent to 50% of the reserved service will be charged if 24 hours or less notice is given. A no call no show is subject to 100% of the scheduled services being charged.

Payments:

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cash are all accepted methods of payment.

Exchanges:

We will gladly exchange an unused product purchased in our salon for another product, however promotional pricing will not be extended.

Consultations:

All services begin with a thorough consultation—the most important part of the experience. Photos of your desired results are highly encouraged, and may be sent via email or text prior to your visit.
We ask our guests to voice any issues, concerns, allergies, or medical conditions—we’re here for you and want you to be 100% satisfied. Our service providers will also offer product recommendations and discuss routine maintenance. Before the service is performed, stylists will discuss the process as well as the products that will be used. We will do our best to give accurate pricing and timing predictions on color changes and corrections. Please understand some service requests will take multiple visits.

Guest Safety:

To ensure the safety of all our guests/staff, and to allow us to give each guest our undivided attention, only the person receiving the service is permitted on the styling floor (exceptions for small children). Children must be accompanied by a guardian at all times and must be receiving a service.

Use of cell phones and electronic devices:

We kindly request that phones be silenced, set to vibrate, or be turned off to ensure that all our guests receive the relaxing experience we strive to provide. Two-way communication devices are also requested to be in ‘Off’ mode.

Refund policy:

There are no refunds of services for any reason. When making an appointment at Shear Design, you agree to pay for all services. Any adjustments to a service must be completed within 7 days.

Lost or Stolen Items:

Shear Design is not responsible for lost or stolen items or items left behind.
